I’m a Brazilian economist seeking to redefine our relationship with money.

Back to the corporate world, I’ve worked for over 3 years in the financial department of one of the largest commodities producer companies in the world. This was mainly a remote position, which allowed me to live in three different cities in the last three years. It has been very important in a certain moment of my life, but now I am taking the next step to try and live a life as aligned with my principles as possible. I'm going to combine my studies, my professional and life experiences to help other people

I believe we can lead our financial lives with balance and lightness. By being aware of our capabilities and strengths, we open up possibilities to receive more. By consuming consciously and in line with our values and possibilities, we spend better. With clarity about our goals and objectives, we plan more accurately. By researching possibilities to invest in companies and projects we believe in, we help build the world we want to leave to our children.

I'm an economist and financial analyst. My mission in this space is to help people redefine their relationship with money, from how they earn, through how they spend and invest it. I'll help you organize your finances and lead a more mindful financial life. I assist them in gaining clarity on their income and expenses and understanding, learning ways to diversify their money streams and the best ways to invest to achieve their short-, medium-, and long-term goals, and doing that aligned with your beliefs and values.

Since I was a little kid in Brazil, my mom opened a savings account for me and put R$50 in it. It was money meant to be saved for the future, to fulfill some big dream I could have then. I was fascinated to see, after a few months, my money growing by a few cents. I believe that's where my interest in finance and economics began.

From my childhood, I've always had a deep connection with nature. I have countless memories of days at the beach, in the sea, or in the woods. Perhaps that's why I started to understand from an early age how everything in this world is so intrinsically connected. I realized how important environmental conservation was and dreamed of working at IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources). Not surprisingly, among the various sports I practiced during my youth, the one I fell in love with and practiced for the longest time was beach volleyball. It was another way for me to stay in close contact with nature.

During my teenage years, seeing my older brother leave to study for 6 months in New Zealand, I also developed a profound interest in understanding how people lived their lives in other parts of the world, the cultural differences, and lifestyles. I fell in love with studying other languages and having the opportunity to chat with people with different experiences from mine. I desperately wanted to experience living in other parts of the world.

For several years, I pursued this dream. I studied hard and dedicated myself to sports and volunteering until, in college, I received a scholarship offer to study economics in the USA. I embarked on this new phase alone, without knowing anything or anyone. I spent three years in Kansas City, Missouri, where I met wonderful people and went through one of the most learning-intensive phases of my life, in several ways. It ended on a sour note, as I was undergoing a deep depressive process, after going through a hard personal loss. This made me rethink many of my certainties and changed the value I perceived in most things.

After graduating, I pursued a postgraduate degree in finance in London. I also had the opportunity to go on a two-month backpacking train trip around the center and Eastern Europe. Throughout this time away from Brazil, I had the opportunity to broaden my worldview. I matured significantly and learned much more than I could have imagined during my teenage dreams.

Three and a half years later, I was returning to Brazil. I spent one year searching for a job while I worked on improving my mental and physical health. I worked for approximately 6 years at one of the world's largest consulting firms. Working in the finance and risk area, I participated in projects for some of the country's leading financial and non-financial institutions.

Then, in search of greater contact with nature and a greater sense of purpose in my days, I embarked on new challenges. I ventured into a new area: the production of consciously grown organic food in the countryside. It provided me with the purposeful life I was looking for, but it lacked, especially, enough financial results. It took 2 years until I decided to change course again.
